This cooperative farm produces energy for both electricity and heating. Agricultural by-products (manure, dung and other types of biomass) are converted into electrical and thermal energy here.
The surplus thermal energy is fed into the public district heating system.
Electrical power: 5,200,000 kWh, which corresponds to the annual electricity needs of about 1,500 families.
Thermal energy: 4,200,000 kWh, which corresponds to the annual thermal-energy needs about 280 families.
