When it comes to green energy, the hydropower station at Tobl is the municipality’s centerpiece.The hydropower station produces much more energy than the municipality actually consumes.
The energy produced is about 64 million kWh, while the annual demand at the municipal level is 20 million kWh. The water that flows from the turbines creates a spectacular natural display the third waterfall that plunges into Reinbach Stream.
